NO SEALER WORKS IN A CONTAMINATED TANK
Tank Etch is a pre cleaner that kills rust prior to coating with our sealer. Plug all openings on fuel tank & pour etch into tank - leaving in tank a minimum of 30 minutes (longer is o.k) & slosh etch while in tank. If there is loose heavy rust apparent, insert a length of chain or some large nuts/bolts into tank and shake to break particles loose. Drain etch out & rinse tank with water 2 times. On last rinse add 2 spoons of baking soda. Air dry tank & apply sealer.
Always work in well ventilated area while wearing gloves and eye protection.
